About Me
Hi, I’m Kass.
I’m a neurodivergent artist, writer, mom, and human living with CPTSD just trying to make sense of this wildly beautiful and chaotically imperfect world. After a mental health crisis of monumental sorts cracked everything open, I began piecing myself back together with the help of loved ones, professionals, and a lot of radical honesty, art, and self-discovery.
Now, I am back in school studying psychology, making sense of my own experiences while learning how to help others do the same.
Here, I write about the raw stuff: about trauma, messing up (alot), addiction, grief, recovery, neurodivergence, self-identified autism, and the long, winding road to healing.
About life and death and everything in between.
This space is my way of surviving out loud. A place for the misfits, the feelers, the ones who’ve been told they’re too much or not enough.
I don’t have all the answers. I’m not a therapist. I’m just someone who’s been lost inside themselves and made it out. Someone who thinks the world needs a little more raw and a lot more real … and is doing her best to be a part of that shift.
I share what I can, when I can. And if it helps someone else feel seen… then it’s worth it.If you’re tired of the “perfect story”…
Welcome. You’re not alone here.
